Decided to UPgrade to the DOWNsized.
I've always been a fan of the LWCG doubles. And the newest design has made them even better. A nice slim stack that's locks together better with the nylon inserts, a better buckleless attachment method and strap organization designed into each stick.
All three of my bucks last year were killed on days with a high over 75 degrees.
Warm weather can be an excuse to not hunt... or a reason to get aggressive.
Weather does not effect the rut... say all you want, but it doesn't. Deer are still breeding just the same. The weather does howe...
Bowhunting is about "How Close" not "How Far".
But how close is almost too close... less than 10 feet up and less than 3 yards away in a @lonewolfcustomgear on public is pushing it. When the shot broke loose my broadhead broke the spine and split into the lungs.
Setting up t...
Last year I had an epic season. After tagging my third buck for the season, I picked up a longbow. First sit I was able to tag a doe being chased by a buck just a few yards behind me.
This season I am fully committed to the longbow. And it's been wild. Self filming bow hunts is not easy, and...
The Turkey Zombie talked another Tom right into the barrel. @keithsharrock and I had been covering many miles on multiple properties till we finally found one fired up wanting to play the game. He was on the next ridge over and gobbling on his own, so we hauled ass down hill just to head back up ...

Know when to stay still.Know when to move slow.Know when to move fast.Unbelievable. CROSSOVER platform only 3.5 feet high from the ground, just enough to shoot over the briars. I was set to shoot a trail on the other side of the tree. 12 yd shot to the trail. After 10 minutes of being set up a ...
My girlfriend and I set up a blind on the edges of a swampy bottom back in August and it was super thick. Fast forward to October when a lot of leaves had fallen and things opened up, we moved her blind in a little deeper. We've had a nice 8 on cam that we've also seen twice from the blind, once ...
Whitetail addict @the_modern_assassin is have a monster year! He put to work the new @lonewolfcustomgear climber on this big old gnarly massive slob recently!
An absolute beast of a buck. I've had 2 other encounters with this buck several years ago. He was pretty clean then with Giant G2s. One blurry velvet trailcam pic in August just looked like big monstrous clubs on his head, and my girlfriend nicknamed him Trollie.Per usual.. it was crazy how it al...
DAY ONE Salt Marsh success with my man @keithsharrock No One works harder than Keith to put others on animals, and I mean that. So I put in all the work I could to put a Stag in fro t of him for his first time Sika hunting, just can't believe it came together only 5 minutes after sunrise on the f...
Hard hunting paid off... and I'm headed home with The Hangman. It can be tough to get a good one in range within just a few days. So I started on the food and worked inward. Was in the action almost every hunt and passed a few nice bucks waiting on an old one, and on the last evening it all came ...
