This morning, I was honored to visit @sanantonioisds Burbank High School to remember the lives lost on 9/11 and recognize the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. Today, and every day, we honor the victims of 9/11 and the acts of heroism from that day. #NeverForget

Abbott knows his actions are illegal. Im glad the court is forcing him to remove his death traps from the Rio Grande. He has endangered lives, damaged Texas working relationship with our largest trading partner and let politics rather than sensible policy dictate his actions.

Do you know a student interested in attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point? San Antonio students can join my office on Sept. 11 at 5 PM to learn more about the Academy and admission requirements, meet with West Point representatives, and get started on applications.

It was great to join @vibrantworksusa this week to tour their San Antonio manufacturing plant & learn more about their workforce development programs for blind & vision impaired folks. Their plant produces supplies for the U.S. military while empowering Texans with vision loss.

We took our kids to see Blue Beetle, Americas #1 movie. They loved it (even if you cant tell from Romans face)! Great to see a movie centered around a Latino superhero and his family hit #1. Congrats @wbd @xolo_mariduena @brunamarquezine @angelmanuelsoto.
